New work , last 10 days

I have settled into the studio, and for want of a better starting point and because the view is surprisingly conducive I began to produce a series of works based on the rooftops of sunny Radstock, the resulting paintings are a natural following on from the increasingly looser paintings I started making in June, July

Those being based on Mevagissey / Charlestown coastal towns i lived near and have a fondness for and The cathedral at Wells, the subject matter and base of an exhibition I was part of in the spring. .

The paintings go through significant changes i record them as they develop, some come to fruition, some wither on the vine.
